We offer the following services:
Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a traditional form of body work / therapy from Japan which helps to balance the flow of energy in the acupuncture meridians. It can relieve many conditions, it helps prevent the build-up of stress and restores vitality and well-being.
During a Shiatsu treatment finger and palm pressure are used on channels and points of energy. The channels or energy pathways, which are blocked and those which, are depleted or low in energy are given special attention. Recommendations are also given relating to lifestyle, diet and exercise to enhance wellbeing and maintain good health.
Chair Shiatsu Massage is a
short form of treatment lasting 20 minutes. The focus is on the spine,
neck, shoulders, arms and head. It is very relaxing and it can be given in
the workplace. Like Shiatsu it is non invasive and is given over normal
loose clothing.
Metamorphic Technique
Metamorphic Technique is a powerful tool for transformation and empowerment.
During a session conditions are created where we release old patterns of behaviour and open up possibilities for positive and creative change. A light touch is applied to specific areas of the feet, hands and head with the emphasis on transformation from within rather than seeking to impose a change from without.
Natural Face Lift Massage
Natural Face Lift Massage, an attractive and popular therapy, is a
wonderfully simple and effective way to banish stress and rejuvenate your
face.
A session lasts 1 hour and it is deeply relaxing. This session relaxes
tension in the muscles and increases elasticity. It improves skin tone and
promotes better blood flow and lymphatic circulation. It reduces symptoms
such as insomnia, eyestrain and headaches and generates a glowing look and
more alert eyes.
Pregnancy
It is during the formative time in the womb that the patterns of behaviour towards self and others are laid down. We act out these patterns later as we meet life's challenges. Patricia has a particular interest in working with women during pregnancy and with parents of pre-school children. It is her belief that behaviour at a later stage reflects this work.
